Ronald D. Degen

Ronald D. Degen’s career spans more than forty years. Mr. Degen now concentrates on commercial litigation, transactional law, real estate and administrative proceedings, and has experience in wills, trusts, and estates. He possesses an excellent track record on motions to dismiss and motions for summary judgment, as well as many appellate victories. His extensive transactional experience is highlighted by his representation of a national franchisor as local counsel and a large New Jersey bank on its SBA loans in New York State. 

Prior to working in the private sector, Mr. Degen worked for more than five years in the Office of the District Attorney of Bronx County, serving under both Honorable Burton B. Roberts and Honorable Mario Merola. In addition, he served as Law Secretary for two judges sitting in the Supreme Court of the State of New York.  

Mr. Degen is a longtime member of the Knights of Pythias—an international fraternal organization—and has been Chairman of its Law Committee in the State of New York for the past 36 years. He is also a member of the Board of Directors and counsel to the Associated Health Foundation, located in Valley Stream, New York.
